Justin Levy, LAc

Justin developed kundalini mediumship. Kundalini, which comes from the yogic tradition, is the primal force of transformation. Mediumship (which comes from many traditions around the world) is the embodiment of that energy for healing.

The body carries within it emotional wounds, unprocessed trauma, and personal and family baggage. Most people have pains or disease patterns that encompass most or all of these realms. The patterns are woven into the body through the nervous system and other physical structures (especially the abdomen), creating the blueprint for disease and pain.

Finding out the “source” of the patterns can be difficult. Sometimes when we think we’ve found the source of a pattern, we can look back even further and find an earlier source. It can be like peeling back the layers of an onion. But there is another way. When we access the kundalini, we find that it has its own intelligence–its own ability to unlock and release unhealthy patterns held in the body, without effort on our part. All that’s required of you, the patient, is a willingness to stay present to what is inside of you, and be willing to follow where the energy takes you. This is difficult for many people, because our culture reinforces the basic human desire to avoid or dissociate from painful things. And the kundalini may take you into the darker or hidden parts of your psyche.

Justin’s work is very physical. There is a lot of bodywork in the abdomen. You may re-experience past trauma or emotion that you’ve disconnected from. But you may also experience an unexpected energy source. This is because disconnecting from painful things also disconnects us from the kundalini. The only way to connect with this energy source is through connecting to our total being, by allowing the kundalini to flow unimpeded throughout our body.

Justin was voted as one of the top touch therapists by the Portland Monthly in 2013 and 2014.
